FACTORY TRANSFORMATION, SEQUENCED RESPONSIBLY

Turn factory evidence into the right first move.

In about 10 minutes, INDUNV turns practical factory evidence into one prioritised next step — separating the technology you want from the prerequisite you need first.

Pathway 2 · Smart Manufacturing · Industry 4.0

Most SMEs want Industry 4.0.
Few know where to start.

Most SMEs don't fail at Industry 4.0 because they lack technology — they fail because they start with the wrong technology. Factory 4.0 Navigator diagnoses a factory's real problems, then builds each one into a ready-to-implement smart-solution plan. We move a factory from "I want to become smart" to "this is the first solution I should implement."

MODULE 01

Factory Readiness Assessment

Start with a short factory profile, then choose the capability the factory wants to develop and answer three plain-language questions — you get a descriptive current state, next achievable state, and a practical first action. The numeric maturity engine stays in the background. The assessment starts neutral: nothing is pre-filled unless you press “Load demo data”.

🏭 Factory profile step 0 · who you are + what you actually measure
Which of these do you actually measure? pick “Unknown” freely — honesty beats guessing
“Measured” = you have records · “Estimate” = your best guess · “Unknown” = we won't invent it. ROI quality follows data quality.
A simple path: 1) choose the capability you want to develop, then 2) answer three practical questions — select the statement that sounds like your factory. We translate the choices in the background and show where you are, what’s next, and the first practical action.
Each completed capability gives an immediate focused result. Complete all 8 for the full InduNv Readiness Index — your data answers set the honesty confidence, and nothing is assumed from the demo company.
📷 Visual Shop-Floor Scan optional · AI reads your photos and identifies capabilities to review — photos never answer the assessment for you offline · guided

Up to 4 images · guided mode keeps them 100% in your browser · live-AI mode transmits them to the configured AI endpoint only after you approve the privacy notice
Dual-engine · The platform gives AI-assisted recommendations, backed by a transparent readiness-scoring model. If the network is unavailable during a pitch, the transparent model runs the full flow with identical structure — no black box, no single point of failure.
Not a certification · Factory 4.0 Navigator is not an official certification tool. It is a fast pre-assessment that helps an SME find its first step, then points it toward the right formal framework — SIRI, CMMM or ITTI — for a full audit.

MODULE 07

Global Standards Alignment

Navigator doesn't reinvent readiness — it aligns with the frameworks the industry already trusts, then acts as the fast, free front door for SMEs that aren't ready for a full formal audit.

🇸🇬 Singapore

SIRI

Smart Industry Readiness Index

The world's first independent Industry 4.0 maturity assessment — endorsed by the World Economic Forum. Structure: 3 building blocks, 8 pillars, 16 dimensions.

Used here for: Process · Technology · Organisation scoring backbone.
🇨🇳 China

CMMM

Smart Manufacturing Capability Maturity Model

China's national standard (GB/T 39116-2020 + 39117-2020). Covers people, resources and technology across the full product lifecycle. Directly relevant — the programme is at XJTLU, China.

Used here for: intelligent-manufacturing maturity reference.
🇦🇪 UAE

ITTI

Industrial Technology Transformation Index

First framework to fuse Industry 4.0 with sustainability — 20 dimensions, 4 on sustainability. Piloted on 75 factories, ~60 of them SMEs: proof the SME-first approach works.

Used here for: the sustainability starter (energy → emissions visibility) + SME precedent.
🌐 WEF

Lumina

Industrial transformation intelligence (Lighthouse data)

WEF's AI intelligence platform built on Global Lighthouse Network data — 238 leading sites worldwide (2026). Its core finding: the winners scale their highest-value step, not the most technology.

Used here for: benchmarking + the "right first step" thesis.
The positioning · Formal frameworks are powerful — and heavyweight by design: a formal index assessment is a scheduled two-day on-site engagement with a certified assessor, leadership and six functional teams in the room, plus a report and debrief. Navigator is the pre-assessment layer — a directional read in minutes, self-serve — that gets an SME started and makes the formal assessment worth booking. We don't compete with SIRI or ITTI; we feed them.
Your IRI band ↔ the frameworks the world already trusts. After a diagnosis, your current band is highlighted.

Same 0–5 doctrine — define → digitise → integrate → predict → self-optimise. Indicative crosswalk, not a certification; Navigator's 8 dimensions are a deliberate SME-core subset of the 16–20 assessed in a formal audit.
METHOD

Why the numbers hold up

Scoring = a recognised model

Readiness maps to an established industrial-maturity structure — three building blocks, eight pillars, sixteen dimensions — rather than rules we invented.

ROI = benchmarks

Downtime, scrap and cost effects use published ranges — McKinsey (downtime −30–50%) and the Deloitte Analytics Institute (breakdowns −70%, maintenance cost −25%) — applied conservatively to the factory's own figures, with assumptions shown and editable, in three scenarios.

Market = real

~400M SMEs exist worldwide, ≈90% of all firms (World Bank, SME Finance). The SME manufacturing-operations-management software segment was US$6.69B in 2024, ~21.4% CAGR to 2033 (Grand View Research, Horizon). The wedge: enterprise platforms are priced for giants — SMEs are underserved.

Prioritisation = index logic · National indices don't conclude "buy the most technology" — they rank a short list of priority dimensions by weighing gap-to-ambition against company pain relevance. Navigator applies the same direction × focus logic at solution level — and gates it by data readiness.
